Kinky's Cowboy Quest
I can't prove this, but I think I'm the only business author ever to have quoted Kinky Friedman. I've been a Kinkstah fan for a long time (since 1975, to be exact), first of the off-beat, subversive country music of his band, Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys, and then of his very, very funny mystery novels and other books.
And now he's running for governor of Texas.
I quoted him in The Radical Leap, and here he is repeating the same words (almost) for the fine citizens of the Great State of Texas in this campaign commercial.
Bonus points for anyone who can find the quote in Leap.
Oh, and one more thing: I wish all political commercials were like this 'un here.
