Age Doesn't Matter--Even When You're Changing the World

If you've heard me speak over the last couple of years, you've likely heard me tell the story of Stan Hindmarsh, Agnes Goodman, and the team at Hallmark Retirement Corp and their mission to change the world of elder care. The vision for their assisted living communities: "the freedom to be alive in a community where age doesn't matter!" And they mean it.

For example, the folks at Hallmark have been taking some of their residents (ages 70, 80, 90+) down to Guatemala to do service work in orphanages, AIDS hospices and other courageous endeavors of the heart for several years now.

They're proving to themselves and the rest of their industry that seniors can and should use the collected wisdom of their life experiences to change the world for the better.

And I'll let you in on a little secret: Stan makes an appearance in The Radical Edge on page 130 and 131. It's a cameo, you might say. An extreme cameo.

He doesn't even know he's in there.

Until now.

Please, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Hallmark's all-too-hidden website. And be sure to look in on their Guatemalan Adventures.
